Salmon is rich in antioxidant which is of big help in calming inflammation. Fatty fish like salmon or mackerel are linked with omega-3 fatty acids, an essential nutrient that helps regulate skin oil production, balanced hydration, and subdue breakouts. Getting skin benefits of omega-3 through food can improve your skin’s fatty acid composition and balances its inflammatory response.

 

Walnuts

Your weight-loss buddy is linked with the lower cholesterol content.  We all have been bombarded with the fact that carrots are good for the eye. But, say no more because apart from being good for the eye, carrot is also proven to be beneficial in cancer prevention, improving blood circulation, prevention of digestive disorder, and skin nourishment. Yup! You see it, right beauty enthusiasts, aside from the health benefits that this wonder vegetable could offer it could also do so much in protecting your skin. The beta carotene in carrots is skin-friendly nutrients that get converted to vitamin A inside the body. It aids the repair of skin tissues while also protecting skin from any other harmful radiation. For those who are suffering from dry skin, you might want to consider carrot juice for they are packed with potassium that can help your skin hydrated.

 

Broccoli

This green king could do so much not just to your health but also to the overall appearance of your skin as it contains plenty of vitamins and minerals such as zinc, vitamin A, and Vitamin C that is vital for your skin’s health making it a big deal for maintaining healthy skin immunity. Consider this green king as your powerhouse antioxidant as it can help your body in varieties of ways being deeply concentrated with vitamin C thus making it great for your body’s immunity. It is shown to improve blood flow and cholesterol. What is good for your heart is indeed good for your brain as well – this pretty much explains why a sip of green tea gives you that extra focus feels. This wonder drink could do so much as well in your skin’s health, as its EGCG (epigallocatechin-gallate) major polyphenolic compound present in green tea contains anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that offer varieties of skin benefits. In fact, a 2016 Study explored the effects of polyphenols present in green tea and its effect on sebum production and acne vulgaris. EGCG is anti-androgenic – androgens are hormones that your body naturally produces.  Fluctuating levels of androgen can cause your sebaceous glands to overproduce sebum which could actually result in acne flare-ups. EGCG actually helps reduce lipid levels thus potentially slows down the overproduction of sebum which in turn helps in lessening the development of acne.
