A tomato mask sounds good to but there are not enough study that would tell that just topical application alone could help you reap off all its antioxidant properties.

Tomatoes help brighten skin

If you are one with those who do not follow a good skincare routine, you might as well notice that skipping sunscreen may lead to skin looking dull and uneven. According to Dr. Devika Icecreamwala, M.D., board-certified dermatologist, the lycopene content of tomatoes actually helps protects the skin from sun damage. Sunscreen is still advisable but you can reap off a little extra protection from using tomato extract.  In addressing your uneven and dull skin, tomatoes being rich in Vitamin C and E got you on that matter. How does the tomato mask sound to you then? The step is as easy as 1-2-3. Extract the juice of one tomato in a bowl and add up a tiny amount of turmeric powder along with enough sandalwood powder in order to form a paste. Apply on your face and wait until it dries off.
