When your body is trying to repair the acne, scars occur. It is how your body uniquely responds to a wound affects if and the way much scarring you’ll have and how much scarring you’ll have. Raised scars appear if there is an excessive amount of collagen. This is a process of repair that includes the creation of collagen. Other scarring is caused by the loss of tissue, which creates pits or indentations within the skin.
